25 days ago Edited my post as my assumption was misinformation Xcom 2 war of the chosen crack. I found a full tutorial on how to patch steam to the latest edition. Full credit goes to Mr. Marha on cs. rin. ru for this, as I hadn't been able to do it until now. War of the Chosen & CreamApi Own XCOM 2 on Steam Install and download XCOM 2 via Steam Download War of the Chosen (I have used Codex release in RARs with ISO from IGG links) Extract (if you have to), mount ISO and install War of the Chosen to folder XXX 3a. I have personally unticked Create start menu folder and ticked Do not create uninstaller and do not write any specifics system info for convience 3b. DO NOT TICK Copy contents of CODEX directory to installdir! Copy content of folder XXX to the XCOM2 folder in steamapps/common and overwrite everything. If you did this correctly you should have this folder hiearchy \steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen Download CreamApi and apply it into folders: XCOM 2\Binaries\Win32 XCOM 2\Binaries\Win64 XCOM 2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\Binaries\Win64 (One of these did the trick, didnt test which one, also content of creamapi is in spoiler) Launch the game from steam library, in Launcher there should be switcher between base game and the new DLC, press it and Launch If you did everything correctly game should launch Enjoy :) The creamAPI config, which I, Nativedavid33, personally made, is as follows. [steam] ; Application ID (http://store. steampowered. com/app/%appid%/) appid = 268500 ; Force the usage of specific language. ; Uncomment this option to turn it on. ;language = german ; Enable/disable automatic DLC unlock. Default option is set to "false". ; Keep in mind that this option is highly experimental and won't ; work if the game wants to call each DLC by index. unlockall = false ; Original Valve's steam_api. dll. ; Default is "steam_api_o. dll". orgapi = steam_api_o. dll ; Original Valve's steam_api64. dll. ; Default is "steam_api64_o. dll". orgapi64 = steam_api64_o. dll ; Enable/disable extra protection bypasser. ; Default is "false". extraprotection = false ; This option will force the usage of the default Steam user data folder. ; Default is "true" Xcom 2 war of the chosen crack. ;forceuserdatafolder = false ; The game will think that you're offline (supported by some games). ; Default is "false". forceoffline = false ; Some games are checking for the low violence presence. ; Default is "false". ;lowviolence = true ; Disables the internal SteamUser interface handler. ; Does have an effect on the games that are using the license check for the DLC/application. ; Default is "false". disableuserinterface = false ; Disables the internal SteamUtils interface handler. ; Does have an effect on the games that are checking for the actual AppId (only matters when "wrappermode" is set to "true"). ; Default is "false". disableutilsinterface = false ; Turn on the wrapper mode. ; Default is "false". wrappermode = false [steam_wrapper] ; Application ID to override (used when the wrapper mode is on) newappid = 0 ; Use the internal storage system. ; Default is "false". wrapperremotestorage = false ; Use the internal stats/achievements system. ; Default is "false". wrapperuserstats = false ; Store the data in the current directory (incl. stats) ; By default the data will is stored at: %appdata%/CreamAPI/%appid%/ ; Default is "false". saveindirectory = false ; Disable/Enable a StoreStats callback. Takes effect only if "wrapperuserstats" is set to "true". ; Default is "true" ;storestatscallback = false [dlc] ; DLC handling. ; Format: <dlc_id> = <dlc_description> ; e. g. : 247295 = Saints Row IV - GAT V Pack ; If the DLC is not specified in this section ; then it won't be unlocked 399620 = XCOM 2: Resistance Warrior Pack 426320 = XCOM 2: Digital Soundtrack 426321 = XCOM 2: Reinforcement Pack 433080 = XCOM 2: Anarchy's Children 433090 = XCOM 2: Alien Hunters 433091 = XCOM 2: Shen's Last Gift 593380 = XCOM 2: War of the Chosen If you need help using creamAPI, just reply to this. I am unsure if I can link the tutorial to using CreamAPI here. Thank you to sm0kie420 for pointing out the syntax errors in my CreamAPI file. It is now updated and working.
